Park Nest

Seville, Spain

The improvement of the Maria Luisa’s Park in Seville is concluded with the design of a pigeon-house. The project should simultaneously act as a sculptural element at the same time that solves abandoned locations and improves the public access to the park. The pigeon-house, conceived as a unique cylindrical piece, is located in a water pond in order to magnify the sculpture effect through the reflection. The nests are group in a ascend spiral in order to allow the optimal ventilation and lighting conditions.
